Nether is an upcoming massively multiplayer online first-person shooter developed by Phosphor Games and published by Nether Productions. The game features an expansive urban environment where players must salvage materials and fend off enemies to survive.

The game is set for release in Fall 2013.

Nether runs on the Unreal 3 engine and features a focus on core survival elements, requiring players to scavenge for resources in order to survive and to craft items. The game's primary city is loosely based on Chicago, and stretches across 700 hundred blocks. A large amount of the buildings in the area can be entered and explored. Nether will present players with a pick of Player-vs-Environment and Player-vs-Player situations.

The game's primary enemies are called Nethers, a horrifying species with demonic and human qualities. These enemies possess high intelligence and quick speed, making them difficult to kill. Players must work together if they wish to defend safe zones or clear out specific areas.

The game will also feature world objectives. The game will be equipped with beta servers that can support up to 64 players.
